Graffiti removal

We will remove graffiti from council owned property within the following timescales:

• Shopping areas - daily
• Residential areas - every 3 weeks

If the graffiti is offensive it will be removed within 24 hours.

We do not remove graffiti from private property, unless the graffiti is offensive.

If the graffiti is on private property, the owner or company has a legal duty to remove it.

 

If you see someone spraying graffiti or carrying out any other anti social activity, you may wish to report through to our Anti Social Behaviour Unit or to your local Safer Neighbourhood Team.
