Elmgrove schools consultation on future organisation

Elmgrove Junior School , Kenmore Avenue , Harrow , HA3 8LU

Harrow Council undertook a consultation on the future organisation of the Elmgrove schools as a combined school from Monday 7 June until Monday 12 July 2010. 

The outcome of the consultation was reported to Harrow Cabinet at its meeting on 14 September 2010, and Cabinet agreed to publish statutory proposals that if approved would establish a combined school from September 2011.

Statutory proposals were published on 4 October 2010 for 6 weeks, and the closing date for representations was 15 November 2010.

Proposals to discontinue Elmgrove Junior School

At its meeting on 15 December 2010, Harrow Council Cabinet  approved the statutory proposals and the two schools combined on 1 September 2011.

The name of the combined school from 1 September 2011 is Elmgrove Primary School and Nursery.
