Priestmead schools consultation on future organisation
Consultation and statutory proposals
Harrow Council held a consultation from 23 February 2009 until 23 March 2009 on the future organisation of the Priestmead schools as a combined first and middle school. Read further information on the amalgamation proposal and amalgamation policy.
The outcome of the consultation was reported to Harrow Cabinet at its meeting, 14 May 2009.
Cabinet decided to publish statutory proposals that if implemented would have the effect of combining the two schools. Statutory proposals were published in June 2009, and the closing date for representations was 20 July 2009.

At its meeting, 17 September 2009 Cabinet approved the statutory proposals, and the two schools combined from 1 January 2010.
