School reorganisation to change the ages of transfer
Stakeholder Reference Group (SRG)
A representative Stakeholder Reference Group met regularly from February 2008 until June 2010. This group included representative headteachers and governors from across the range of schools, elected members and trade union representatives, and considered the impacts on schools that would result from change to the ages of transfer.
Regular update notes were sent to headteachers and chairs of governors about the work of the SRG.
The progress of the work of the SRG was reported to June 2008 and January 2009 Cabinet.
