School reorganisation to change the ages of transfer
Background
School reorganisation was implemented in September 2010.
In June 2008, Harrow Council's Cabinet agreed to hold a consultation with parents, teachers, pupils, school governors and all interested parties regarding changing the organisation of schools in Harrow. The consultation was held from Monday 8 September until Friday 5 December 2008.
On 15 January 2009, Cabinet considered the outcomes of the consultation and decided to publish statutory proposals. The statutory proposals were published in February 2009 for a representation period that ended on 23 March 2009.
On 23 April 2009, Cabinet approved the proposals.
