West Lodge schools consultation on future organisation
Consultation and statutory proposals
Harrow Council held a consultation on the future organisation of the West Lodge schools as a combined first and middle school from Monday 17 March until Friday 4 April 2008. On 21 May 2008 Cabinet considered a report about the outcome of the consultation and decided to publish statutory proposals.
Statutory proposals were published in June 2008 that if implemented would have the effect of combining the two schools from 1 January 2009. The statutory proposals were determined by the Office of the Schools Adjudicator on 21 November 2008. The Schools Adjudicator approved the proposals, and the schools combined on 1 January 2009.
The combined school is called West Lodge Primary School following the school reorganisation changes implemented in September 2010.
