Suspensions and Dispensations

A suspension of pay and display bays can be requested where required. As there is a loss of income through the suspension of pay and display bays, a 100% of the daily rate is applied per bay per day of suspension plus an administration fee.  The total cost for this is £40 per day and £10 per additional bay per day. 

You should remember that it is an offence to:

• Hold a parking space by blocking it off with cones or other objects
• Block a parking space, for example with a skip or building materials, without a license.

Both of these actions are considered to be an obstruction of the highway.

Suspensions cannot be provided on demand and take a minimum of 5 working days to be issued.

Suspensions are available from 10am to 12 noon and from 2pm to 4pm at Harrow civic centre one-stop shop. We will accommodate requests outside these hours where staff are available. If you need a suspension please call the parking management team.
