Explanations:
Proof of Residency
Examples of acceptable documents include; Vehicle Registration document, driver's licence, recent bank Credit/Debit card statement. If a tenancy agreement is provided, a permit will be issued for the length of the agreement (is - 2 month tenancy agreement will mean a 2 month permit)
Proof Of Vehicle Ownership
Examples of acceptable documents include; Vehicle Registration document, letter from employer confirming that you are the sole user, hire/lease agreement, bill of sale/invoice, valid insurance document.
Environmentally friendly vehicle
Environmentally friendly vehicle means a vehicle that is propelled by electricity, compressed natural gas, methane gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), hydrogen, methanol, ethanol or hybrid vehicles using a combination of petrol or diesel, with electricity or LPG. Evidence such as a Vehicle Registration document will be required to qualify for the above.
Disabled Badge Holders
Residents who hold a Disabled Badge do not require a resident's parking permit if the Badge is clearly displayed in the vehicle. However, if the disabled badge is not clearly displayed in the vehicle a Penalty Charge Notice will be issued and will not be cancelled. The decision whether to purchase a resident's permit in addition to holding a disabled badge is left to the resident to decide.
