Electoral Register 

Every year Harrow Electoral Services has to publish a revised electoral register.  In order to do this, the office carries out a check of all residential properties within the borough.

Voter Registration Forms

The Voter Registration Forms will be delivered to you in mid August 2011.  The revised Register will be published by Thursday 1 December 2011, and will be used in any elections that may be held after that date.  

How to complete the form

Completing the form is easy.  Simply add or confirm all eligible names on the form remembering that only one person needs to sign it.  You should also include the names and date of birth of 16 and 17 year olds living in the household.

YOU MUST REPLY, even if the pre-printed details are correct on the form.   If the details are correct and there are no changes you can reply by using the following methods entering the security details printed on the form:

1. internet registration
2. by using the free automated telephone service on 0800 197 2225
3. by SMS text to 80212
4. completing the form and returning it by post.

If there are any changes, amend the form, and return it in the prepaid envelope provided.

Please reply promptly

Do not delay; return your form as soon as possible.  If no reply is received reminders will be sent in September and October.  If you do not respond, you may not appear on the Register of Electors and may lose your right to vote.  You may also have difficulties in obtaining credit which includes mortgages and mobile phone contracts.
