Meals on wheels
What are meals on wheels?
Harrow's meals on wheels service delivers hot and frozen meals to people who, due to frailty, illness or impairment, may be unable to prepare a meal for themselves and have no-one to help them.
Meals can be provided up to seven days a week, 365 days per year, direct to your home. Where possible specific dietary needs and cultural requirements will also be catered for.
Hot meals and puddings are delivered directly to your home, at lunchtime (11am-1.30pm), on the days they have been requested.
They must be eaten straight away and not reheated at a later time.
Frozen meals and puddings can be provided on a fortnightly cycle to enable you to heat the meals at a more suitable time for you.
