Respite Care for adults
What is Respite Care?
Respite is being able to have a break from caring and have some time for yourself. This can be provided by someone else taking over the care that you would normally provide for a temporary period of time.
The Council may be able to help with this. Contact the Council for a carers' assessment or discuss this as part of the assessment of the person that you care for.
Details of organisations who provide respite care can be found on our shop4support website www.shop4support.com/harrow
