Harrow FIS Childminder Vacancy lists

Harrow Families Information Service (FIS) produces lists of registered childminders who have vacancies. This list is updated weekly for distribution to parents /carers seeking childminders in Harrow.

In order to improve the accuracy of the information on this list and to comply with Sure Start's FIS Standards we are now aiming to verify the accuracy of the information at least monthly.

Time does not allow for FIS staff to call every childminder on the list every month and still maintain the helpline for parents/carers, and so we are asking Childminders to confirm their vacancies with us on a monthly basis.

How the system works

Vacancies can be added or deleted at any time during the month and will appear on the next weekly printed list. Just call FIS at any time leaving the appropriate details.

At the end of each month (last working day) all vacancies will be removed from the list unless the childminder has contacted FIS during that month to register or renew the vacancy.

 

Please mark your calendar as a reminder to phone.

When you register a vacancy with FIS your vacancy will be kept on the list for that month and will be included in the lists for the next month unless you telephone to say that you have filled your vacancy.

You will need to call FIS before the end of each month to stay on the list.

 

When you call to cancel your vacancy, your name  will be removed from the list and will not appear on the next weekly list or any other until you phone in to register another vacancy.

General reminders will be sent to childminders as part of mail-outs but it will not be possible for us to remind childminders on a regular monthly basis.
