Local Implementation Plan

The Harrow Transport Local Implementation Plan (LIP) was agreed at the Harrow Cabinet on 19 May 2011 and at full Council on 7 July 2011.

The document underwent a statutory consultation in January and February 2011.

The document is currently being published and will be made available to the public to view via all libraries in the borough and also at the Harrow Civic Centre.

The document shows how the borough will implement the Mayor of London's Transport Strategy locally in Harrow.  The plan contains all of Harrow's transport objectives, policies, delivery plan, monitoring indicators and targets and is funded by Transport for London, Borough capital and revenue and from other sources.

Please note that the plan is over 120 pages long so only print out if necessary.

Environmental Issues

Because the Transport Local Implementation Plan is a statutory plan it underwent a Stategic Environmental Assessment (SEA).  This is the Environmental Report that was developed alongside the plan.

LIP2 Environmental Report

Following full Council adoption this is the SEA statement that has been prepared.
