Interested in saving money and the planet? Looking to take your business to the next level? Then why not take part in our new scheme for businesses in Harrow.

Harrow Council has teamed up with environmental charity Global Action Plan to offer Small Medium Enterprises (SME's) in Harrow free environmental surveys with ongoing support.

The scheme can help you:

• Reduce the running costs of your business
• Minimise your environmental impact
• Diversify your revenue streams
• Improve your bottom line

 As well as assist you to:

• Be a carbon neutral business
• Become a green supplier
• Achieve an environmental accreditation

The project will include an on-site visit from a Global Action Plan Business Advisor, with relevant staff from the business and a walk-around of the premises.

A full survey of premises by a business advisor would usually encompass, measuring energy use, water use, waste production, recycling rate and consumption of other relevant resources such as paper or periodicals. Advice on sustainable procurement and travel plans is also available. Following the survey, a report will be presented detailing the savings the business can make.
