Blue and Grey Bins
Recycling facilities for flats are being introduced around the borough.
Blue recycling bins will now be placed at all blocks of flats in Harrow meaning that everyone living in flats can recycle from home. Flats' residents will be able to recycle all of their paper and cardboard, glass bottles and jars, tins, cans, plastic bottles and containers.
The blue recycling bins will be located near to the existing grey rubbish bins. Both the blue recycling bin and the grey rubbish bin will be emptied weekly.
Flats are defined as:
- Blocks of flats or apartments
- Flats or apartments above commercial premises
Please note, not all flats will be suitable for the scheme. Each site will be assessed individually before receiving recycling services to assess accessibility and logistics.
