Harrow parking income and expenditure

The law requires councils to keep a separate account showing how much income is generated from parking tickets, permit fees and traffic fines.

This 'parking account' also shows where we spend any surplus revenue.

The parking account is summarised annually in the council's statement of accounts (PDF, 887 KB).  The latest statement is for financial year 2008/2009.  The parking account is shown on page 26 (paragraph 7.17).

Please note, speeding offences are enforced by the London Safety Camera Partnership and these figures are not accounted by Harrow Council.  Neither are any penalties issued by the Metropolitan Police.
