Working partnership
A working partnership has been formed between: Harrow Early Intervention Services, Harrow Primary Care Trust, Safeguarding and Family Support Group and those offering parenting support, to develop a parenting support strategy.
Aims of the strategy
- To provide support for parents as well as a fully accessible range of courses in parenting; available when and where it's needed.
- Ensure that the courses and support cater for Harrow's diverse community, so that all parents can make informed choices.
- Implement borough-wide consultations with parents and professionals, enabling those affected to have their say.
- promote quality and equity to ensure all parenting support is of the highest standard.
- The strategy will aim to fully utilise all existing services and agencies, to provide a consolidated service for parents.
