A & E psychiatry - out of hours services
The purpose of this service is to help people with mental health concerns who are at immediate risk and whose needs cannot wait until normal office hours.
This is in addition to the service provided by the emergency duty team.
Services provided
This team is an extension of the services provided by the daytime community mental health teams. It works mainly with people with already identified mental health problems and with new clients who are in need of urgent assessment.
Opening times
The telephone line is open 24 hours but during office hours, if you have a key mental health worker in the community, eg Atkins House or Honeypot Lane please contact them instead.
