The decision on where to form a civil partnership is usually one of the first couples make.

If you require a simple ceremony for no more than 40 guests, the Moat Room at Harrow's register office is an attractive and economical option.

Moat Room availability:
Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 12pm and 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
Saturday mornings, 9.30am to 11.30am (on the hour and the half-hour.)

In the Civic Centre we also offer the Middlesex Room, where up to 100 guests can be accommodated.

Middlesex Room availability
Saturdays, 9.30am to 5pm
Sundays and bank holidays, 11am to 4pm.

After 12pm on Saturdays, an extended ceremony is available.

Both rooms are attractively wood-panelled and have a CD music system. You can bring your own music or use a track from our selection.

They are both fully accessible to those with disabilities.

External Approved Venues

 

At the approved venues much larger numbers of guests can be accommodated, and catering is available on site.

This country house was formerly the home of WS Gilbert of 'Gilbert and Sullivan' fame. There are three rooms available, The Music Room, Gilbert's Restaurant and The Drawing Room. Our most popular venue, it stands in extensive grounds.

The Quality Harrow Hotel

This modern hotel offers three rooms, the Byron and Sheridan Suites, which can be combined for a larger ceremony, and the smaller Conservatory.

Situated in a quiet street, this large hotel offers the Sheridan Suite which can accommodate up to 150 guests seated at tables. The adjacent foyer area is also available.

The world famous school attended by Winston Churchill. There are two rooms, the wood-panelled Old Harrovian Room, and the more modern Shepherd Churchill Room with splendid views across London.

Located in the heart of Harrow town centre, this hotel offers the Park Room or the Green Room which seats up to 60 guests for the ceremony.

When booking a venue, please make sure you also book our staff. Contact us at the register office as early as possible as we need make sure staff are available.

Registrars will not perform the ceremony outside Harrow and Hotel staff are not authorised to.
