Ceremonies are conducted by two registrars. One will register the marriage and the other will be the celebrant. On the day of the ceremony the registrars will meet with the couple to make their last legislative check on their personal details and obtain the particulars that will be entered into the register. At this point the couple will be asked the full names and occupations of their fathers, these details are required for the registration of the marriage.
If you have chosen to hold your marriage in one of the rooms in the Civic Centre or at a Harrow approved venue, you will be offered a tailored ceremony according to your needs. If your marriage is at an approved venue you will also be offered an enhanced ceremony and a dedicated registrar will work with you to create a unique ceremony.
