If you wish to order a copy of a birth, death, marriage or civil partnership certificate, please contact the Harrow register office.
Please be advised that Harrow will only be able to supply copies of certificates for events that actually took place within the borough of Harrow. For example if a birth occurred in Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow registrars will be unable to supply you a certificate as this hospital falls within the borough of Brent.
You will be able to pay for the copy of the certificate by cash, cheque, postal order or by credit or debit card over the phone. Please be advised we need the following information:
- the full name of the person to whom the certificate relates
- the date of the birth, death, marriage or civil partnership
- the address of the event.
Getting documents legalised
There maybe an occasion where you are required to get a certificate legalised at the Legalisation Office in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The purpose of this is that it demonstrates to other Authorities concerned that the signature, stamp or seal on documents they are presenting are genuine.
