Auction premises

THIS SERVICE IS UNDERTAKEN BY AN EXTERNAL ORGANISATION - TRADING STANDARDS.

The Greater London Council (General Powers) Act 1984 gives local authorities in London the power to licence premises (including stalls) where the sale of certain goods by competitive bidding takes place.

The local authority may set out conditions which auction houses have to adhere to.
