Building materials

The council expects building materials to be kept on private land or the building site, wherever possible.  If this is not practicable there are some circumstances under which you can apply for a licence to place materials on part of the public highway.  This will be subject to conditions, for up to one month.

If a licence is granted you may put building materials on the road, but not on the footway (pavement).
