How do I apply for a licence?
Only scaffolding or hoarding companies may apply for a licence. You must have public liability insurance to qualify for a licence. Licences are not automatically granted.
Approval is subject to site inspection and all conditions being complied with. Applications may be approved subject to various conditions.
Full conditions are contained within the application form and they vary between scaffolding and hoarding.
Inspections are carried out periodically both in and out of normal working hours.
Persons found not to be complying with the conditions of any licence will be reported to Harrow Council for possible legal action.
