Alcohol exclusion zone
A campaign to promote responsible drinking
Harrow Council is promoting responsible drinking to people who live in, work in, or visit the borough.
As part of this campaign, the council has introduced a borough wide Designated Public Places Order, commonly known as alcohol exclusion zone, that became effective from 1 August 2008. This order is not a ban on drinking alcohol in public.
