Help and Advice

The council is required to ensure that all of our properties have a current gas safety certificate, which indicates that the gas systems in the property are safe, secure and fit for use.  These certificates are valid for 12 months, and your property must be serviced every year.

We are currently performing very well in ensuring that as many of our properties have up to date gas safety certificates.  We ask for your co-operation to work with us and our contractors to ensure that these appointments are kept.  If you are contacted by the council about servicing your gas systems, please treat this as an urgent matter.

All of our contractors are Gas Safe registered, and will carry an authorisation card
