Further information on payment methods
You will need your Housing Personal Identification Number (PIN) or your tenancy reference number to pay your rent through any of the methods listed below.
You can find your PIN on your tenancy agreement. Please add zeros in front of the number to make it up to ten digits. For example, PIN 123456 becomes 0000123456 and PIN 1234 becomes 0000001234.
You can find your tenancy reference number on your rent statement or on any letters we have sent you in relation to your rent account.
You can arrange for your bank or building society to pay the rent from your bank account every month in advance. When your rent changes, we will tell you about it and the amount you pay will be changed automatically.
Under the Direct Debit Guarantee, you get 14 days' notice of any change in the amount of the charge to your account and an immediate refund of any amounts taken from your account in error. Your bank statement will provide a complete record of the payments you make.
To pay by Direct Debit, complete the Direct Debit instruction form and return it to us.
Full details of the guarantee are shown on the Direct Debit instruction.
If you would like to pay by Standing Order please take our bank details (below) to your bank along with your Housing PIN. You need to tell your bank the amount and payment frequency you wish to set up e.g. weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly or calendar monthly. When quoting your tenancy reference number or your PIN please do so without any gaps or hyphens.
