How do I apply for a college travel grant?

To apply for a college travel grant, please complete the college travel application form. You must apply by the start of the autumn term if you want to be considered for a grant for the whole of the academic year.

Applications after the start of term will be considered, but if you are awarded a grant it will only cover the period starting from the date you applied.

You must be able to provide one of the following:

• A letter from the Job Centre that states that you are entitled to Income Support. This should be no more than 3 months old (or 6 months old if accompanied by a recent bank statement).
• A letter from the Job Centre stating that you are receiving Income Based Job Seekers Allowance. This should be no more than 3 months old (or 6 months old if accompanied by a recent bank statement).
• A letter from Harrow Asylum Team stating that you are being supported by People First
• A letter no more than 3 months old stating that you are being supported by the National Asylum Seeker Support Service (NASS)
