Adoption

We welcome enquiries from people who might be able to care for a child or young person on a permanent basis.

The adoption team:

The adoption team will be able to provide you with additional information and support, their duties include:

• Supporting adoptive families at least up to the point of an adoption order (and beyond if needed)
• Providing counselling to people who have been adopted and who want to find out more about how they came to be adopted, or who want to trace members of their birth family
• General support of adoptive families in the borough of Harrow
• Preparing court reports for step-parent adoption applications
