Notification - cooling towers
All premises within the London Borough of Harrow with cooling towers and evaporative condensers must register with us under "The Notification of Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensers Regulations 1992".
This helps identify possible sources of "Legionella" bacteria, and to ensure proper controls are taken to avoid the risk of such disease affecting employees and the public.
Name, premise location and contact details are required for notification, as this may result in an inspection from the local authority or Health and Safety Executive, dependant on premises.
