How to arrange a burial

To arrange an interment you need to consider the following and fill in the Notice of interment form on the right.  Please return it to the Harrow cemeteries office at least two days before the interment.

1. You'll need to appoint a funeral director.
   
2. If a new grave is requested, the funeral director will need to state the depth that the grave is to be excavated to.
3. You'll need to select a cemetery: list of Harrow's cemeteries.  Please note, availability is limited in some cemeteries.
4. If an existing/reserved grave is to be used, you'll need these details: the grave number; the name; the last date of interment; the name of the registered owner (if known).
   

We cannot accommodate changes to the interment notice on the day of the funeral.

Registering the death
You will also need to register the death via the registry office.
