Freedom of Information Act
The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the latest Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) came fully into force in 2005 - full details can be found on the Information Commissioner's Office website.
How do I make a FOI request?
Before considering making a request for information under the FOIA, you might like to browse for information by using the following resources:
- the Publication Scheme - this is a guide to information routinely published by the council. It is a description of the classes or types of information that Harrow Council publishes or makes available.
- frequently requested information
- disclosure log
If you have tried all of the above, but have been unsuccessful in finding out what you want to know, you can submit a FOI request by going to the request section.
How do you want your information?
We can provide the information to you in a variety of formats (email, HTML, hard copy etc.)
Public Health service
The London Borough of Harrow and London Borough of Barnet operate a shared Public Health service which is hosted by Harrow Council. To make a Public Health service Freedom of Information request, please go to the request section.
