Privacy Notice

Harrow Council stores information about service users for whom it provides services. This enables Harrow to carry out specific functions for which the council is responsible. The information is used to inform, influence and improve policies and to monitor the performance of various departments within children's services

We are also required to pass on some of this information to the Department for Education.  The Department for Education uses this information to help with policy development, local authority performance management and funding and to assist with the development of good practice. 

The statistics are used in such a way that individual children cannot be identified from them.

This Privacy Notice is to inform parents and children over 12 years of age in order to meet the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.
