Listed Buildings
Heritage at Risk
Listed buildings, Scheduled Monuments and conservation areas that are vulnerable to decay or neglect can be added to English Heritage's Heritage at Risk Register.
Each heritage item is classified by priority and condition. The register is updated each year as buildings are re-used, rehabilitated and restored and new vulnerable sites are identified.
Once a building has been rehabilitated it is taken off the register.
The most important building currently on the list is Bentley Priory, a grade II* listed building. A Supplementary Planning Document was adopted in May 2008 for the building and surrounding area.
Harrow Council successfully had George V Memorial Garden wall removed from the register after its restoration in 2007/2008.
