Harrow Biodiversity
The Harrow Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) sets out a framework for the protection, conservation and enhancement of wildlife within Harrow. The Harrow BAP is a culmination of work by various members of the Harrow Biodiversity Partnership.
The Harrow BAP has identified various habitats and species, which are of importance within the borough.
Habitats selected include: bare ground, decaying timber, gardens and allotments, grassland, heathland, parks, standing and running water, wasteland and woodlands.
Species selected include: bats, Heath Spotted Orchid, reptiles and amphibians and Southern Wood Ants. The document includes an action plan for each of these habitats and species.
