Green Belt Management Strategy

Harrow's Green Belt Management Strategy was adopted by Cabinet on 16th March 2006. The strategy's overall aims are to:

• Provide a framework to guide Harrow's future decisions on the use and management of the area
• Meet the recreational needs of Harrow's residents and visitors
• Make Harrow a more attractive place in which to live and work, for visitors and wildlife

The strategy asserts the importance of the Green Belt to Harrow and puts mechanisms in place to ensure the protection of this unique resource.
