Housing
Are you worried about paying your rent or being left homeless?
If you are struggling with mortgage or rent payments you may be eligible for housing benefit.
The Council's Housing Advice Service offers free advice on housing rights, disputes with landlords, eviction, or problems paying mortgage or rent, and can help with court representation - contact details on the right.
If you are a council tenant and your property has become too big for you, maybe after children leave home, the under-occupancy scheme will help you find a smaller property and reduce your costs. Call 020 8424 1509 to find out more.
