Harrow Childcare Sufficiency Assessment
The Childcare Act 2006 places a duty on the local authority to manage the childcare market and ensure the sufficiency of childcare. As a result Harrow has conducted an audit of registered childcare provision across the borough to develop a more detailed understanding of the local market. We are currently consulting on the findings with practitioners, parents and residents.
A draft summary of the finding is available to read - details on the right.
The full report can also be accessed by contacting us - details on the right.
We welcome all comments and responses and will incorporate the outcome of this consultation into the final document and the Action Plan.
To feedback on the report please email us and ensure that CSA consultation is included in the subject field.
We would like to say thank you to everyone who participated in the process, in particular the schools who supported the children's consultation.
