Help with animal welfare

We respond to both reports from the public, and undertakes proactive patrols. The aims of the service are to reduce the risk to human health from domesticated animals and/or the premises where they are kept, to prevent nuisance.

Pest control

Our pest control service is an affordable, chargeable service, which came into operation due to the increasing demand for this service and the desire for Harrow to provide the best service possible to its customers.

The service provided:

• Is non profit making
  
• Uses trained and qualified staff (4 in total)
  
• Uses safe modern baits that are approved for use in the UK
  
• Uses unmarked vehicles - no signs stating Pest Control on the side
  
• Aims to visit within 2 working days depending on demand
  
• Provides free advice
  
• Identifies pests for free

The treatments provided include:

• Rats and mice
• Cockroaches
• Wasps

Stray dog service

We provides a service with a view to promoting responsible dog ownership and enforce the dog control byelaws throughout the borough.
