Future Whitmore

A Phase 1 initial consultation was conducted during summer 2007. Comments were invited from stakeholders and public meetings were held. 

Public meetings:

• Two parents'/carers' meetings on 12 June 2007
• A community meeting on 10 July 2007

Our thanks to everyone who came along and contributed at the meetings, or sent emails. People's comments covered a wide range of areas. For ease of reference, we are grouping comments and giving some responses from the project team:

Question 1: What opportunities and issues would you like the project team to be aware of?

• site layout/facilities - including parking & transport, external & internal design
• environmental impact - during construction and sustainability
