Disabled Facilities Grant

In exceptional circumstances, where the cost of eligible works will exceed the maximum available mandatory grant, the council may consider additional discretionary funding. Obtaining such funding is subject to a means test on the owner of the property and is only offered when refusal for a 'Houseproud' Equity Release loan has been or would be given. Any Discretionary Disabled Facilities Grant awarded is repayable on sale of the property.
