Schools Admissions - Primary Schools

Before you begin

It is essential to read the terms and conditions. This will ensure you follow the application process correctly; help avoid delays; and maximise your chances of getting your preferred school.

The application process

Primary - reception class:
Children born between 1 September 2005 and 31 August 2006.
Applying for Harrow primary reception class places is the same regardless of whether you live in Harrow or not.

The Guide to Primary Schools 2010/11 booklet provides details about the admission arrangements. Application forms and hard copies of the booklet are available from Harrow primary schools and Access Harrow (at the Civic Centre).

If you're applying for a Faith School you will need to fill in a Supplementary Information Form and return this directly to the school.

The closing date for all primary school applications has now passed. Please call school admissions for a late application form.

When will I hear what school I have been offered?
Letters with results will be posted first class to all applicants on 23 April 2010. However, if you applied online you will also be able to get results online from 9am on 23 April 2010.
