'Harrow is Electronic'

As of Monday 19th January 2009, Harrow Planning Department became electronic.  In effect what this means to our customers is a saving of time, money and of course paper.  You will note from the application form downloads below a total of 4 copies of plans are requested, this is a standard requirement for planning applications submitted to boroughs not yet using an Electronic Document and Record Management System (EDRMS).  As with an 'on-line' application, Harrow now only requires 1 set of plans to be submitted with all applications, which will be scanned into the system, processed and stored.

NOTE: The following links are for downloading forms and not for submission of online applications.  To submit your application online please use the Planning Portal.

OBSTRUCTION OF WATERCOURSES: Your attention is drawn to our guidance documents 'Harrow's Land Drainage Bylaws' in relation to the obstruction of watercourses and 'Living on the Edge' if you own land or property alongside a river or other watercourse.  This document should be consulted when submitting a planning application.  Please contact our Engineering Drainage Section should you require further assistance (see contact details top right of page).

Householder Application Forms:

The Harrow Planning Department is committed to providing a high quality service, ensuring that all planning applications are dealt with fairly and efficiently.
