Harrow Museum Schools Service

Schools visit information

  • Advance booking is essential for all school visits.
  • Each session lasts between 1 1/4 and 1 ½ hours. However this can be adapted to suit your requirements - please discuss this at the time of booking.
  • Education sessions will take place in the atmospheric Tudor Tithe Barn, Headstone Manor and the Victorian Granary. All the buildings at Harrow Museum are listed and the entire site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
  • The schools service will run in the morning when the Museum is closed to the public, allowing your pupils to fully enjoy our safe and secure site.
  • Sessions will be available to book on Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays and will be led by experienced museum staff
  • There is ample free parking for cars and coaches at the Museum, and a café where the children can eat their packed lunches. There is also a small shop for pocket money treats.
  • Please tell us of any special needs that your pupils may have - sessions can be adapted to cater for your pupil's learning needs
  • Charge per session is £85, usual maximum class size is 32.
