We get many requests for traffic calming, so we have to prioritise. We base our assessment on:
- speed and volume of traffic in the road;
- the number of reported personal injury accidents;
- how many large vehicles use the road where there are school entrances; and
- other facilities such as parks, places of worship, community centres, old peoples homes, and hospitals in the road.
