South Harrow parking review

The council is considering introducing changes to parking arrangements in South Harrow, namely Corbins Lane, Leathsail Close and Northolt Road (near Roxeth Grove).

This follows local consultation when people were asked about their parking problems and were given the opportunity to join the existing South Harrow Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ - Zone M).

The informal consultation took place during 2010 and the responses were reported to councillors on the Traffic & Road Safety Advisory Panel (TARSAP) in September 2010.

The panel recommended that formal proposals be taken to 'statutory consultation', which is the process we are legally obliged to undertake before implementing changes to parking restrictions.

This statutory consultation period has now ended and the final decision will be made by the Portfolio Holder for Environment and Community Safety, the senior councillor in charge of traffic and parking.
