Community Roadwatch

Harrow Council is currently working in partnership with the Metropolitan Police service to run Community Roadwatch. This is a road safety initiative aimed at reducing speeding in residential areas.

Community Roadwatch gives local residents the opportunity to work side by side with their local police teams, and use speed detection equipment to identify speeding vehicles in their communities. Warning letters will be issued where appropriate, and the information captured can help to inform the future activity of local police teams.

If you would like to take part in Community Roadwatch, or wish to suggest a residential area where there are concerns about speeding, please contact the Metropolitan police using the details below.

Please state which borough you live in. Your enquiry will be forwarded to Harrow's safer transport team, who will be in touch.
