Headstone South area parking review
Summary
The council recently carried out a review of the double yellow lines that were recently introduced at junctions, bends and pinch-points throughout Headstone South ward.
These restrictions were brought in to help prevent parking in places where it would cause an obstruction, especially to refuse trucks and fire engines. Keeping junctions clear also improves visibility for all road users, including pedestrians.
The lines came into effect in May 2010 and we promised a review would be carried out within 6-12 months.
