Overhanging Trees, Grass Cutting, Weed Removal and Shrub Trimming Report Form

The Council trims overhanging trees, cuts grass, removes weeds and prunes shrubs in public spaces on Council-owned land. This includes highways, verges, public open space, schools, parks, town centres and memorial gardens.

 

We do not tend to privately owned land or properties/estates owned by bodies other than the Council.

The primary purpose of these services is to prevent danger and to maintain safety, rather than to preserve beauty.  For example, we will only prune trees affecting telephone wires in cases where the line is affected by the tree
