Transfer to Junior School 2012-13

In schools where the Infant and Junior schools are two different schools, parents must express a preference for a Junior school. For the academic year 2012/2013, parents of children in infant schools in Year 2 will be given full details of the application procedure during the school year.

In combined Primary schools the children simply move on to the next year group (from Year 2 to Year 3) in the same way as at the end of all other years.

Children attending a Harrow infant school

You will need to use Harrow's common application form. Children in Year 2 in a Harrow community infant school will be sent an application form in September 2011.

You should fill in the form and return it to your child's current school. The closing date for receipt of applications is 15 January 2012. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered until all other applications have been dealt with.

Children not attending a Harrow infant school

If your child does not attend a Harrow infant school, you can request an application form from Access Harrow on 020 8901 2620. You should return the completed form direct to the Admissions Service. You will be asked to provide proof of your child's date of birth and address.
